UHS Pruitt Corporation
UHS approached 16toads about designing and developing their corporate "umbrella" site. The project scope included a content management tool that would allow internal staff to manage every aspect of every site (five current) within the UHS family through one web-based interface. We settled on DNN (DotNetNuke) for the CMS platform because it is open source, all five (5) sites were to be hosted on internal UHS Windows-based servers, and all the necessary features were covered in the basic CMS package. 16toads brought in a development partner, Arke Systems, to handle the programming and module customization. We worked closely with UHS IT to implement the highly customized DNN platform and set up a customer portal that met their security requirements. After a lengthy development process, we turned over six completed web sites for UHS to launch which include uhs-pruitt.com, unihealth solutions.com. united-hospice.com, heritageofsantarosa.com, a (restricted access) projects site, and a help site.
